Stop AVG from deleting the infected files?

I got AVG v7.5, when I performa a virus scan it shows some file are infected and then automaticly deleting it.

The file is clean but gives false positive with AVG.

What I want, is a way through my AVG to stop deleting any infected file when it detected, I would like to delete them manualy.

I know there is many way to go arround that issue, such specify the folder u wanna scan, or move the file to some other directory or whatever. I appreciate all of that but I need a SPECIFIC answer if anyone got it.

How to Stop AVG from deleting the infected files at the Scan process?? I only would like the AVG to perform a scan and show result wihtout disinfecting anything.

Thank you

I don't think AVG has automatically deleted that file. Check in its Virus Vault.

You got AVG to find and remove virus infections, and believe me, the developers of AVG are smarter than you about what to remove. Why do you want to override your antivirus program? If you leave any infected files on your computer, you have defeated the purpose of an antivirus program.
I can give a few links that offer free virus and spyware removers...! Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at
